East Asia, China, ca. early to mid 20th century (pre-WWII) CE. Eleven delicate rings, most with wide, flat, disc-like bodies, and four with taller profiles and ribbed edges. Their coloration ranges from deep moss green to a creamy green, with most almost translucent and pale green. Size: 1" W (2.5 cm); none have a wide enough interior diameter to be worn as rings but they could easily be strung as pendants.

Provenance: private Palm Springs, California, USA collection, acquired before 1965; ex-private American collection that left China in 1949

  • Condition: All are in generally good condition and intact. Two have traces of red paint on their exterior. Very light deposits on the surfaces of all with some tiny scratches commensurate with age.
