Latin America, Mexico, Taxco, Los Castillo, ca. 1939 to 1962 CE. A handwrought brass water pitcher of a curvaceous form with a green Chrysocolla frog that is carved in the round and perched upon the leaf at the front end of the handle, and five inlaid chrysocolla frogs leaping in various poses around the shoulder of the near spherical body of the pitcher. Chrysocolla is a beautiful stone of green and blue hues that is often found in association with Azurite and Malachite.
