Russia, Magadan Region (southeast) Seymchan, found ca. 1967 CE. A beautiful slice of meteorite, heterogeneous rock with translucent green-yellow olivine crystals throughout. The Widmanstätten pattern (Thomson structures), long nickel-iron crystals found in pallasite meteorites like this one, are clear. Fragments of this meteorite were found in the Yasachnaya River in 1967. In 2004, a good deal more material was recovered from the same site.
