Description:

**First Time At Auction**

Pre-Columbian, South Coast Peru, Incan Empire, ca. 1200 to 1532 CE. A large cast-copper hoe with a cylindrical hafting hole, a broad, rectangular face with rounded points along the upper end, and a pinched blade edge with a slightly-curved profile. The underside is marked with several small indentations, perhaps as a result of the casting process. Both the top and bottom faces boast areas of light green patina, making this an attractive and utilitarian example of Incan tool-crafting! Custom museum-quality display stand included. Size: 3.375" W x 6.25" H (8.6 cm x 15.9 cm); 5.375" H (13.7 cm) on included custom stand.
