North America, Kansas, found in Admire, Lyon County, in 1881 CE. A beautiful, large slice of meteorite, heterogeneous rock with translucent green-yellow olivine crystals throughout. The Widmanstätten pattern (Thomson structures), long nickel-iron crystals found in pallasite meteorites like this one, is clear. The Admire pallasite meteorite was found during ploughing in 1881, when a farmer excavated a mass approximately 12-15 pounds. Size: 10.05" W x 6.3" H (25.5 cm x 16 cm); 474 grams
