Ancient Near East, Shephelah, Israel, Iron Age I, ca. 1000 to 700 BCE. A bulbous, iron-rich clay vessel of utilitarian form with strainer holes along the body, a flattened base and a loop handle. There are remains of tan pigment to surface. Size: 4.75" W x 4" H (12.1 cm x 10.2 cm)
