A lovely and petite ancient Roman green glass pitcher with a four-sided body, rounded shoulders, splayed neck, pouring spout and nicely formed trail handle that connects the rim to the shoulder. Beyond its endearing form, the surface is almost magical with areas of shimmery rainbow iridescence and an overall wonderfully aged patina. Size: 2-3/4" (7 cm). Provenance: Ex-private New York City collection.
