Description:

Ancient Seas, ca. 2 million years ago. A massive shark tooth with a warm sepia coloration and striations from the fossilization process. The enamel is lightly polished to pleasant smoothness, and the edges are slightly serrated. Grains of sand and tiny pebbles wedged themselves into the crevices when this tooth sat at the bottom of the ocean. Megalodons were among the largest predators the ocean ever saw; however, their teeth are the only parts that have survived since their cartilage bodies could not fossilize. Size: 5.75" L x 4.125" W (14.6 cm x 10.5 cm); 5.6" H (14.2 cm) on included custom stand.
