Pre-Columbian, Peru, Huari (Wari) culture, ca. 500 to 1000 CE. A hand-built and stone-burnished pottery canteen bearing a circular body and a relatively planar base. The russet-hued vessel features an abstract, tendril-form motif on each side that is surrounded by petite circular spots. Size: 5.25" L x 7.25" W x 9.4" H (13.3 cm x 18.4 cm x 23.9 cm)
