USA Southwest, Hopi people, ca. 2002 CE. A flat figure kachina with yellow head (case mask), red ears, and a green muff. Two red chili peppers are attached to the top of the head. The oval body is marked off into square multicolored sections (corn ears) and the body is wrapped in a corn husk. Tsil Kachina is the Chili Pepper Kachinas, a runner who will overtake you in a race and stuff chili peppers in your mouth. Size: 3" W x 9" H (7.6 cm x 22.9 cm)
