Description:

Western Greek. ca. 490-480 BCE. The delicately modeled face of a young woman with almond-shaped eyes with sculpted lids and the characteristic "Archaic smile." Her carefully arranged strands hair parted in the middle, and covered by second layer of hair above the temples. The head is adorned with a diadem decorated with discs and she wears globular earrings. 12.3cm H x 7cm L x 9.9cm W
