Magna Graecia, South Italic, Daunian, ca. 300 BCE. An attractive pottery plate featuring an elegant, minimalist form of a shallow bowl, a broad rim, and a rounded base. Though the exterior is left bare, the interior features a creamy beige hued ground with a target motif in red, yellow, and black at the enter and traces of a painted pattern of palmettes and dolphins. Size: 7.6" Diameter x 1.5" H (19.3 cm x 3.8 cm)
