Description:

Ancient Seas, ca. 2 million years ago. This is a beautiful, nearly all black fossilized shark tooth. Finely serrated edges and a nearly perfect 'v' shape come to a pointed and still relatively sharp tip! The gleaming tooth and matte root area are all that remain of megalodons since their cartilage bodies did not fossilize. Megalodons were some of the largest predators that ocean ever saw and this is an amazing example of the enormous prehistoric shark. Size: 5.75" L x 6.125" W (14.6 cm x 15.6 cm); 6.875" H (17.5 cm) on included custom stand.
