Description:

Roman, Eastern Roman Empire, ca. 3rd to 4th century CE. A free-blown ampulla made from semi-translucent, pale blue-green glass with a slightly concave base, an apple-shaped body with an indented neck line, and a tall spout with a smooth lip. Faint rainbow-hued iridescence envelops most surfaces and complements the soft turquoise hues. Size: 2.9" W x 4.2" H (7.4 cm x 10.7 cm).
