Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. A free-blown cosmetic-holding unguentarium with a pair of conjoined cylindrical bodies that are fused at their mutual base, all formed from semi-translucent green glass. Thin trails of similarly-hued glass coil up each body, and a pair of applied trail handles grace the upper shoulder and rim. Faint silvery and rainbow-hued iridescence envelops this elegant composition. Custom lucite display stand included. Size: 2.3" W x 5" H (5.8 cm x 12.7 cm); 5.375" H (13.7 cm) on included custom stand.
