Ancient. Cyprus, Archaic Period, 7th to 6th century BCE. Getting hard to find and very desirable! Carved limestone head of a male, he wears a pointed cap his face beardless and in typical almost triangular form, eyes almond shaped and lips pursed, the back of his head flat suggesting it was set into a niche. Size: 2.75" W x 5.125" H (7 cm x 13 cm); 7.5" H (19 cm) on included custom stand.

Provenance: ex-private New York City collection acquired around 1990
