Pre-Columbian, Costa Rica, Atlantic Watershed, ca. 200 to 500 CE. A gorgeous carved semi-translucent grey-green jade pendant in the form of an abstract anthropomorphic figure. Shown possibly seated with legs crossed, short arms bent and joined fingers at mid-section, square head with stylized rows of hair, with deep drilled eyes and flat nose, laterally perforated through neck for suspension. Size: 0.75" W x 1.7" H (1.9 cm x 4.3 cm).
