A fascinating blackware whistling vessel presenting an intriguing form comprised of an ovoid ring of six continguous bulbous forms that resemble pea pods - the pair at opposite ends stands apart as one features a tubular spout with a flared rim, and the other is adorned by a pair of lovebirds atop a circular base with whistling holes below their bodies - both ends are joined by a twisted handle. Size: 10.125" W x 4.375" H (25.7 cm x 11.1 cm)
