East Asia, China, Ming Dynasty, ca. 1368 to 1644 CE. A lovely porcelain jar adorned with blue-on-white decoration of scrolling vines and petaled flowers. Sitting upon a ring-form base, the jar presents an apple-shaped body with a curved shoulder and a narrow, raised rim. A ring of petal motifs encompasses the shoulder as linear designs encircle the neck. Size: 4.5" Diameter x 5.2" H (11.4 cm x 13.2 cm)
