Description:

East Asia, China, Han Dynasty, ca. 206 BCE to 220 CE. A mold-made terracotta bowl with a thin overall composition. The exterior displays several concentric horizontal rows of low-relief dots above an incised circular base; it also has a deep interior cavity with sloping walls and a thin rim. Thin-walled examples like this are unusual to find due to their inherent fragility, however such delicacy only adds to its beauty. Size: 6.25" Diameter (15.9 cm).
