A beautiful gilt panel made from a silver-copper alloy- the stylized deity or chieftain is repousse hammered on the surface. Whether a god or a mortal member of the ruling class - the figure's rank is clearly denoted by his crescent headdress, and whoever wore this plaque would certainly be someone of power. The corners are pierced for suspension to attach this panel to clothing or headdress. Size: 2.5" L x 2.5" W (6.4 cm x 6.4 cm); 5.25" H (13.3 cm) on included custom stand; silver quality: 39.4% to 43.5%; gold quality: 14.3% to 15.6%; weight: 4.9 grams
