Pre-Columbian, Central Coast of Peru, ca. 800 to 1470 CE. A spherical pottery jar of round-bottomed form bearing a cupped rim and a pair of thick handles. The beige-hued exterior is decorated with dense red and black motifs that form stippling and curling tendrils, and the rim is decorated with zigzagging lines. Size: 3.98" Diameter x 7.875" H (10.1 cm x 20 cm)
