Pre-Columbian, Central Coast of Peru, Chancay, ca. 800 to 1200 CE. A hand-built pottery female figure of hollow, nude form holding both arms out to her sides. Her enlarged head boasts dark brown embellishments that create a tattoo-like effect. Size: 2.625" L x 6.125" W x 9.2" H (6.7 cm x 15.6 cm x 23.4 cm)
