Pre-Columbian, Central Coast of Peru, Chancay, ca. 800 to 1200 CE. A hand-built pottery female star-gazer figure, known as a cuchimilco, that stands with outstretched arms and exposed genitalia. Her sizable head exhibits almond eyes and a pinched brow with a trio of slender perforations in the center. Size: 1.6" L x 4.25" W x 6.1" H (4.1 cm x 10.8 cm x 15.5 cm)
