Description:

Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Calima, Ilama phase, ca. 200 CE. A wonderful pottery vessel in the form of a stylized hut or temple with a petite arched doorway, all surmounted by a pair of conical spouts and an arched handle. The bulbous lower half of the vessel features a relief figure of a frog placed just outside the door of the hut, surrounded by a band of incised dotted and geometric motifs. Size: 6" Diameter x 8.4" H (15.2 cm x 21.3 cm)
