Description:

Pre-Columbian, Bolivia, Lake Titicaca region, Tiwanaku/Tiahuanaco, ca. 800 to 1200 CE. A polychrome kero with concave walls that gracefully flare, adorned on the interior walls with four stylized anthropomorphic figures in red, orange, cream, and chocolate brown - and a sweet heart-shaped motif on the tondo. Such flared cups were used for drinking chicha, a native maize/corn beer. Size: 5.125" in diameter at widest x 3.125" H (13 cm x 7.9 cm)
