Ancient Central Asia, Bactrian, ca. 2500 to 2250 BCE. A beautiful lapis lazuli cylinder seal with a central perforation that enables its suspension. Carved onto the exterior is a repeating register of depicting three abstract caprids with pointed horns and narrow muzzles as well as stocky bodies that present in left-facing striding poses. Custom putty impression included. Size: 0.65" L x 0.3" W (1.7 cm x 0.8 cm)
