Starts at $150 - Cambodia, ca. 12th-14th Century CE. A set of 3 Khmer bronze lime pots. All three with encrustation, surface wear, and patina. All three cast in an elegant lotus bud shape, separated in the middle and hollow for lime storage. Lime was used in the ingestion of the betel nut - a natural drug used to create a mild sense of euphoria. Largest pots measure 4 1/2"T, smallest 3 1/4"T.Provenance: Ex-D.
