Ancient Near East, northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1000 to 600 BCE. A fine cast-bronze spear point with a slender tang, a curved pommel with a circular attachment button, and a petaloid blade with a prominent midrib and sharpened edges. Attractive layers of matte brown and green patina envelop the weapon. Size: 14.125" L x 1.75" W (35.9 cm x 4.4 cm).
