Ancient Central / Northern Europe, Celtic Iron Age, ca. 5th to 1st century BCE. A forged-iron spear head of lengthy form with a conical socketing shaft and a petaloid blade. The blade features sharpened edges, a shallow midrib, and a pointed tip useful for penetrating even the most durable armor of the time. Size: 12.375" L x 1.6" W x 0.75" H (31.4 cm x 4.1 cm x 1.9 cm)
