Northern Iran, Amlash culture, ca late 2nd to early 1st millennium BCE. A bronze dagger featuring an elegant silhouette with a triangular blade, a flared quillon, a cylindrical grip, and a spoon-shaped pommel, incised with several horizontal bands. A thick, central mid-rib travels vertically down the blade, while the entirety of the weapon is enveloped in rich green and blue patina. Size: 13" L x 1.3" W (33 cm x 3.3 cm)
