Northern Europe, Scandinavia, Viking or Norse culture, ca. 9th to 11th century CE. A set of 2 pendants shaped from either 87% silver or 93% silver depicting Mjolnir, the legendary hammer forged for the Norse thunder god Thor. The first pendant displays a series of stamped triangles on the stamp face as well as stamped chevrons on the handle, and the second, unstamped pendant features incredibly lustrous surfaces. Size (unstamped): 1.08" L x 0.59" W x 0.19" H (2.7 cm x 1.5 cm x 0.5 cm); (stamped): 1.1" L x 0.5" W x 0.22" H (2.8 cm x 1.3 cm x 0.6 cm); silver quality: 87% to 93%; total weight: 4.9 grams; (necklace cords): 22" L (55.9 cm)
