Near East, early Islamic period, Persia, Khorasan, ca. 8th to 9th century CE. An elegant bronze bottle boasting a piriform silhouette with a faceted body, long neck, and flared rim, all sitting upon a discoid foot. Lozenge-shaped facets adorn the bulbous lower body, while the neck is embellished by straight facets that end at the rim. Size: 3.9" Diameter x 6.9" H (9.9 cm x 17.5 cm)
