Description:

East Asia, Korea, middle Silla Dynasty, ca. 6th to 8th century CE. A wheel-thrown buffware pottery kendi (tea pot) with a small, lipped foot, a bulbous body, a projecting spout with an angled lip, a wide neck, a flared rim, and an applied trifurcated strap handle joining neck to body. Traces of the original pale-orange slip are still visible around most exterior surfaces. Size: 3.875" W x 4.625" H (9.8 cm x 11.7 cm).
