Description:

East Asia, China, Shang Dynasty to Warring States Period, ca. 1600 to 221 BCE. A fine gathering of 32 cast leaded-bronze arrow tips and 5 cast-bronze bells. The five bells exhibit slender, petaloid bodies with incised linear motifs surrounding the exterior surfaces. The arrow tips present with a variety of forms including three-sided with short tangs, two-sided with lengthy tangs, and one openwork point without a tang. Each item bears layers of green and brown patina commensurate with age. Size of largest (bell): 2.875" L (7.3 cm)
