Description:

Native American, Pacific Northwest Coast, United States or Canada, Kwakwakaíwakw, Haida, or Tlingit, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A hand-carved wooden fetish of a frog seated upon lengthy hind legs while holding both hands in front of a rounded chest. The amphibious visage exhibits ovoid eyes and an enormous mouth. The back is inscribed "E.C.", an unknown artist. Size: 2.125" L x 2.1" W x 6.1" H (5.4 cm x 5.3 cm x 15.5 cm)
