East Asia, Southern China, Miao Culture, ca. 20th century CE. A collection of 5 high quality silver charms with turquoise and carnelian stone beads. Each charm is hollow with a clapper ball inside, turning each into a tinkling bell- repousse molded into stylized flowers and lotus buds. Jumper rings and chain links on four are strung with a polished turquoise and carnelian beads, with another ring for securing each dangling charm to a pendant or necklace. Size: 2" L x 0.75" W (5.1 cm x 1.9 cm); silver quality: 80% to 90%: weight: 21.1 grams
