Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A cast leaded-bronze fibula with faceted knob-ends, a slender crossbar, an arching midsection, and radiating linear motifs on the lower body. A slender pin is situated along the verso and still articulates smoothly within its housing. Size: 1.9" W x 2.875" H (4.8 cm x 7.3 cm)
