Central Asia, Tibet, ca. 19th century CE. A round offering tray standing on a tall foot, made from sheet bronze, with two decorative bands of incised brass, one around the edge of the upper portion and one around the foot. The bowl itself is wide and shallow, with a broad, flat lip; the bowl stands atop a flaring base. Made to be placed in a temple and filled with offerings; today a beautiful antique. Size: 9.25" W x 5.8" H (23.5 cm x 14.7 cm)
