A beautiful cast brass dorje, also known as a vajra, that is held in ceremonies and rituals - a familiar symbol of Tibetan Buddhism which represents the moment of Enlightenment. The dorje / vajra is typically depicted as a small, double-headed, diamond-shaped object that represents lightning - the four-headed dorje is a unique variation of the form! The word "dorje" comes from Tibetan, while "vajra" is the Sanskrit equivalent, but both terms are often used interchangeably. Size: 5.5" L x 2.25" W (14 cm x 5.7 cm)
