Native American, Southwest, Plains Indians, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. An attractive pair of beaded deer or buffalo hide moccasins, lane-stitched with sinew and glass beads of pink, cobalt blue, translucent red, and white hues to depict cross forms across the vamp and petite rectangular panels around the perimeter of the front half of the shoes. Both moccasins have rawhide soles and insteps. A handsome pair! Size: 9.75" L x 3.75" W x 5.5" H (24.8 cm x 9.5 cm x 14 cm)
