A stunning and wearable bangle bracelet made from 36% (equivalent to 8K+) gold & copper (yellow gold) band inlaid with dozens of precious gemstones of rubies, emeralds, and pearls. The bangle opens on a hinge with a box clasp and safety catch. This would have been a significant piece for a woman to wear - married women often wore pairs of bangles- symbolizing wealth and status. Such ornate types are often referred to as "temple jewelry" for important ceremonies and festivals - these ornate pieces were modeled after the adornments worn by deities.
