A fine plaster anatomical model of a lamellibranch mollusk (Anodonta), mounted on wood, made by Ward's Natural Science Establishment of Rochester, New York. This company was a leading supplier of natural science materials to museums throughout North America from its foundation in 1862 until the 1920s, with most of its success occurring prior to 1910.
