Native American, North America, Eastern Woodland, ca. 1000 BCE to 800 CE. A fine gathering of 11 hand blades, hand-knapped from a variety of stones. Eight of the blades have rough ovoid forms with sharpened edges, and three exhibit an elongated form with tapering heads. Three blades are quartzite; two blades are chalcedony; two blades and three elongates points are chert; and the last is petrified wood. Size of largest (chalcedony): 2.5" W x 3.7" H (6.4 cm x 9.4 cm).

Provenance: Estate of R. Pearson, Denver, Colorado, USA; Mr. Pearson collected from the third quarter of the 20th century until he passed away.
