Native American, Southwestern United States, Zuni, ca. mid-20th century CE. A matching necklace and earring set; a turquoise squash blossom necklace set with petite point turquoise stones and a trumpet shaped squash blossom projecting from the lower part of the bezels. At the center is the inverted crescent-shaped Naja pendant. The necklace is wearable with a hook and loop clasp and the earrings are clip-ons and are also wearable. Size of strand: 20" L (50.8 cm); Naja pendant: 2" L x 1.5" W (5.1 cm x 3.8 cm); earrings: 0.9" L x 0.5" W (2.3 cm x 1.3 cm); silver quality: 87% to 92%; weight: 58.5 grams
