Mexico, Oaxaca, Zapotec culture, Tani phase, ca. 250 to 350 CE. A hand-built double-well vessel figure depicting a seated elderly figure. The face exhibits deep wrinkles and sunken eyes, lengthy ears adorned with circular earrings, and a tri-lobed coiffure, all decorated with applied cinnabar pigment. Size: 2.8" L x 3.75" W x 5.875" H (7.1 cm x 9.5 cm x 14.9 cm)
