Southwestern USA, Tucson, Arizona, Yaqui (Yoeme) people, ca. 1962 CE. This is a wooden mask, painted, with a black face with crosses on the chin and forehead, a red mouth and eye holes, and white triangles under the eyes and white carved teeth. It has short horse hair brows and a short beard. This is from a dance ceremony called the Pascola. Size: 5.25" W x 8" H (13.3 cm x 20.3 cm)
