Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A tall pottery flute with double tubes and a zoomorphic - possibly owl-shaped - mouth piece. The flute has eight finger holes total and is still playable! Comes with custom stand. Size: 1.2" W x 10.8" H (3 cm x 27.4 cm); height on stand: 12" H (30.5 cm).

Provenance: Ex-Dr. G. Hermann collection, Denver, CO acquired before 1980
