Description:

Ancient Western Asia, northwestern shores of the Caspian Sea, Dagestan region, ca. 8th to 6th century BCE. A cast-bronze figurine of characteristically abstract form presenting nude while standing with arms raised above the petite head. The arms are connected to the head via the elongated thumbs and imbues the effigy with a profound presentation accentuated by layers of smooth patina. Size: 1.25" W x 1.85" H (3.2 cm x 4.7 cm); 2.3" H (5.8 cm) on included custom stand.
