Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A rare hand-built pottery funnel presenting a conical body that tapers to an elongated, slightly-angled neck and a flared spout. Spouts like this were perhaps used for giving food or water to children or the elderly or perhaps as an enema vessel for administering hallucinogenic substances. Size: 5.9" Diameter x 6.5" H (15 cm x 16.5 cm)
